We are happy to announce recent results for some of our newer JackRabbit SSD and Flash array products.  Our 48 drive SSD array has sustained a 7.8 GB/s streaming rate for nearly 1TB of data, as well as sustaining a 330k IOP rate for 8k random reads throughout this very large dataset.  

This particular unit, and another very similar to it are destined for use in financial services.  Similar big data problems can occur anywhere, in any industry.    These units have wide applicability, for use in applications requireing  large streaming or random access data sets, as cache devices to front other storage systems, or for extremely fast metadata or object storage units.
